Whether you are a competitive runner, casual jogger or just out for a short stroll- the Race to Remember has something for you!  Race to Remember is not about the speed or dexterity at which you walk or run, it is about remembering lost loved ones and encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle while supporting a worthwhile cause.

New in 2015:

The 10th annual Hospice of Marshall County Race to Remember will be our best event yet!  We will have the same chip timed, well-supported, family friendly, closed course with all new features, incentives, benefits and COLOR! Each race registrant will receive 2 complimentary packs of color to use in our color celebration before and after the race. No color powder will be thrown by race volunteers during the 5K, but you may certainly arrange for your own "color blasts" throughout the course!

6:30 a.m.-7:45 a.m.

Registration and check in at Albertville High School Coliseum

7:50 a.m.

Opening Ceremony Begins

8:00 a.m.

5K Race/Walk Begins (Runners will line up in front of walkers)

9:00 a.m.

1 Mile Fun Run Begins

Course Description

An All-New certified 5K and 1 mile fun run course will take participants through the flat, runner-friendly streets of downtown Albertville and the surrounding residential community! It will be a beautiful and well supported run starting and finishing at the Albertville High School Coliseum. The course has been certified by the USAT.

During the race, water will be available.  Before and after the race, rehydration & snacks will be available.  Participants can expect well posted directions throughout the course as well as a host of volunteers ready to cheer them on!  Medical support will also be available on site during the event.

After the event, we will have a party awaiting you at the finish line!  We have vendors, door prizes, entertainment, snacks and more!

February 27th- Fleet Feet Huntsville- 3:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

February 28th- Hospice of Marshall County- 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

February 28th-Snead State Gym- 4-6 p.m.
